TomaGold Unveils the Growing Scale of Berrigan Deep
TomaGold’s Berrigan Deep project reached 900 metres depth, though new drill holes have trailed the initial discovery anchor.

TomaGold Corporation (LOT) has released assay results for the final three Phase 2 extension holes at its Berrigan Mine Project in the Chibougamau camp of Quebec, completing the five-hole Phase 2 programme. The company states that with these five extension holes, the zone is now defined over more than 250 metres laterally and approximately 400 metres vertically, with mineralisation intersected to a depth of roughly 900 metres. TomaGold describes the deposit as open laterally and at depth, while also referencing recent mergers and acquisitions in the camp involving IAMGOLD/Northern Superior and Central Asia Metals/Cygnus. The release includes a link to a 3D viewer and explicitly notes that the results do not constitute a mineral resource estimate, while repeating the 2001 non-NI 43-101 historical estimate of 1.39 million tonnes at 3.17% zinc and 1.77 g/t gold.
Key intercepts from the final holes include:
- TOM-25-012EXT (record final depth 907.4 m): 69.40 m at 3.46% ZnEq (0.81 g/t AuEq) from 784.20 m to 853.60 m; including 40.10 m at 5.38% ZnEq (1.25 g/t AuEq) from 784.20 m to 824.30 m; including 4.20 m at 21.18% ZnEq (4.90 g/t AuEq) from 805.60 m to 809.80 m.
- TOM-25-012EXT upper intervals: 7.05 m at 4.31% ZnEq from 663.95 m (including 2.00 m at 10.22%); 2.80 m at 6.00% ZnEq from 519.15 m; 1.00 m at 9.09% ZnEq from 764.00 m; plus several sub-2 m hits and two ~0.5-1.4 m tails at 2.3-2.4% ZnEq near 867-880 m.
- TOM-25-010EXT: 19.10 m at 2.23% ZnEq (0.52 g/t AuEq) from 472.40 m to 491.50 m; including 4.00 m at 5.29% ZnEq and 3.10 m at 2.77% ZnEq. Also 6.65 m at 2.26% ZnEq from 398.00 m and a 0.60 m spike at 17.01% ZnEq from 257.90 m.
- TOM-25-013EXT: 7.00 m at 2.21% ZnEq (0.52 g/t AuEq) from 631.50 m to 638.50 m carrying 28.25 g/t Ag; plus 1.70 m at 7.50% ZnEq from 669.50 m and 4.00 m at 1.49% ZnEq from 688.00 m carrying 31.85 g/t Ag.
TomaGold Corporation (LOT), a pre-resource explorer with a market capitalization of approximately C$10 million, has completed a drilling program at its Berrigan Deep project. The release confirms the persistence of the mineralized system to approximately 900 meters, extending the vertical dimension of a known zone without opening a new zone, intrusive center, or commodity. The program adds a third broad intersection and one narrow 21.18% ZnEq pod at depths exceeding 800 meters.
The two highest-grade holes from this program, TOM-25-011EXT and TOM-25-009EXT, were previously reported on June 30 and July 16, respectively. The new results do not exceed the prior best in grade-and-width substance. The new best hole recorded 240 %-m ZnEq at 3.46%, which is roughly half the discovery anchor’s 500 %-m at 5.08% and below TOM-25-011EXT’s 419 %-m. The other two new holes reported minor intersections of 43 %-m and 16 %-m.
The expectation anchor for the project is the December 2025 discovery hole, TOM-25-015, which returned 98.50 m @ 5.08% ZnEq. The second reference is TOM-25-011EXT, reported on June 30, 2026, at 204.25 m @ 2.05%. The stock has not embedded these results; it ran from approximately C$0.04 to a peak of C$0.10 on the discovery, then round-tripped back to C$0.03. This price is near the 52-week low of C$0.02 and below the pre-discovery level of C$0.04, indicating the market is pricing essentially nothing for Berrigan Deep.
Because the anchor results are not priced in, the rule for a delta shortfall against a priced-in result does not apply. Conversely, the mirror rule requiring a result to be materially better in grade-and-width substance than anything previously demonstrated also fails to trigger. The current results represent a repeat of the same grade class on narrower high-grade pods at greater depth. The company had previously flagged consistent visual mineralization in these exact holes, making this incremental news that sustains the exploration thesis and improves the scale case without altering the company's valuation.
TomaGold Corporation (TSXV: LOT; OTCPK: TOGOF), a Montreal-based junior explorer, focuses its primary activities in Quebec’s Chibougamau Mining Camp and Ontario. The company holds 100% ownership of the Obalski and Chicot properties. Obalski, a gold-copper-silver deposit, comprises 75 claims covering 2,724 hectares and features an 85-meter shaft and two ramps.
TomaGold also holds optioned interests in 11 to 12 properties, including the Berrigan Mine, Brosnan, Radar, Dufault, David, William, McKenzie, Bruneau, Lac Antoinette, Lac Elaine, and Gwillim. These were acquired via option agreements with Chibougamau Independent Mines, SOQUEM, and Globex. Globex retains a 2% gross metal royalty on the Berrigan property. The company holds a 24.5% interest in the Baird gold property in Red Lake, Ontario, which is operated by Evolution Mining (51%) with New Gold holding 24.5%. Earlier-stage projects include Star Lake, focused on rare earth elements and lithium in James Bay, and Brisk Extension, also in James Bay, targeting lithium and rare earth elements.
The Berrigan Mine Project consists of 16 claims covering 483 hectares, located 4 km NNW of Chibougamau. TomaGold holds an option to acquire 100% of the property from Chibougamau Independent Mines. A historic estimate from April 2001 by Met-Chem, which is non-NI 43-101, reported 1.39 million tonnes at 3.17% zinc and 1.77 g/t gold on the main Berrigan Mine zone.
