Harvest Gold Earns a 100% Interest in its Urban Barry Project in the Quebec Abitibi Region, Corrects Wording from its August 12, 2026, Release
Harvest secured the Urban Barry title, expanding its Abitibi land play ahead of planned drilling at the Mosseau deposit.

Harvest Gold Corp. (HVG) has fulfilled all payment obligations to acquire a 100% interest in the Urban Barry Property from EGR Exploration Ltd. The transaction was settled via $90,000 in cash, the issuance of 1,750,000 common shares, and $200,000 in exploration expenditures. EGR retains a 2.0% net smelter returns (NSR) royalty, with an option to sell back 1% for $1,000,000. A final issuance of 1,000,000 shares is required if the company defines an NI 43-101 inferred resource of 1,000,000 oz AuEq or greater on the property. Harvest Gold must complete two years of work commitments before returning any claims.
The release includes a correction regarding the Mosseau drill contractor partnership, clarifying it was with a company owned by a member of Lac Simon, not directly approved by the Nation.
Harvest Gold Corp. (HVG) has completed the acquisition of a new property, finalizing a previously announced earn-in agreement and strengthening its land position within the highly prospective Urban Barry Greenstone Belt. The transaction carries an immaterial financial impact, consisting of $90,000 in cash and a nominal share issuance, but strategically adds approximately 20 km of strike length to the company’s portfolio, complementing the Mosseau and LaBelle projects.
The deal includes a 2.0% NSR royalty, which is standard for early-stage acquisitions and does not materially impact near-term economics or valuation. The announcement aligns with historical expectations and does not introduce unexpected market-moving information or alter the fundamental risk/reward profile of the exploration stage.
Harvest Gold Corp. (HVG) is a pre-revenue junior explorer focused on gold and copper-gold deposits in Quebec's Abitibi region. The company’s portfolio includes the Mosseau, LaBelle, and Urban Barry projects, which cover over 50 km of strike in the Urban Barry Greenstone Belt.
The flagship Mosseau Property features a 17.7 km gold-bearing structure. Recent drilling reported a high-grade intercept of 105.0 g/t Au over 1.15 m. These projects are located 45-70 km west of Gold Fields' Windfall deposit, positioning the company in a proven mining camp.
