Argenta Silver Reports Up to 96% Silver Recovery and 14,857 g/t Ag Concentrate from Initial Cleaner Flotation Tests at El Quevar
Argenta’s metallurgical tests confirm high-grade concentrate potential despite emerging dilution challenges at the project.

Argenta Silver Corp. (AGAG) has released initial cleaner flotation test results from the Yaxtché deposit at its El Quevar project in Argentina. Thirteen of fifteen variability samples achieved average silver recoveries of approximately 95% in rougher flotation, with individual recoveries reaching up to 99%. Cleaner flotation on two representative samples yielded a final concentrate grading 14,857 g/t Ag with 96% silver recovery.
The testwork was conducted by Blue Coast Research using archived core from 27 drillholes, following a 3D block model and QA/QC protocols. The company continues its expanded 45,000-meter drilling program, with over 25,500 meters completed across 89 holes since May 2025. Remaining testwork, including TIMA, locked-cycle testing, and reagent fine-tuning, is expected in 45–60 days.
Argenta Silver Corp. (AGAG) has released metallurgical results that align with or slightly exceed typical expectations for high-grade epithermal silver deposits. The findings validate that conventional rougher-cleaner flotation can produce a marketable concentrate. These results are part of the metallurgical program announced in January and February 2026, with outcomes originally targeted for the third and fourth quarters of 2026.
While technically positive, the update does not change the project’s stage as advance exploration, nor does it provide immediate cash flow. Instead, it primarily de-risks the processing route ahead of a future scoping study. The company’s stock has traded in a broad downtrend since late 2025, and this incremental technical update is unlikely to reverse broader market sentiment without a catalyst such as new financing or a major resource expansion.
Argenta Silver Corp. is an exploration-stage company focused on the 100%-owned El Quevar project in Salta Province, Argentina. The project spans 57,000 hectares and features extensive infrastructure, including a 100-worker camp, more than 60 kilometers of internal roads, and proximity to rail, gas, and power lines.
The flagship Yaxtché deposit hosts an Indicated resource of 45.3 million ounces of silver at 482 g/t Ag from 2.93 million tonnes, plus an Inferred resource of 4.1 million ounces at 417 g/t Ag. The company’s exploration strategy allocates 40% to resource expansion and 60% to new discoveries, with active targets including Mani-Copan (silver) and Carmen (gold-copper).
