A2GOLD IDENTIFIES NEW GOLD ZONE MINERALIZATION SOUTHWEST OF MCINTOSH AND EXTENDS EXISTING MINERALIZATION AT EASTSIDE
A2 reports low-grade step-outs at its AUAU project, failing to revive the stock which sits at its 52-week low.

A2 Gold Corp. (AUAU) has released first-phase reverse-circulation drill assay results from the McIntosh target at its Eastside property in Nevada. The company reported two specific intercepts from the initial drilling campaign.
- Hole ES-347: 0.23 g/t Au over 65.5 m from 253.0 m downhole.
- Hole ES-342: 0.20 g/t Au over 32.0 m from 214.9 m downhole.
ES-347 is described as a new gold zone located approximately 370 meters southwest of the current McIntosh resource. ES-342 represents an 86-meter extension of known McIntosh mineralization situated southeast of the resource boundary.
The assays were calculated using a cutoff grade of 0.10 g/t Au, with a maximum of 5.0 meters of consecutive internal dilution allowed and no limit on total non-consecutive internal dilution. True widths were not determined, and the reported intervals represent downhole lengths. Only two holes are presented in this release, and the total number of holes in Phase 1 or those that produced assays has not been disclosed.
A2 Gold Corp. (AUAU) is a junior explorer with inferred resources only, holding no reserves and generating no revenue. At the last available close, the company’s market capitalization stood at approximately C$62.5 million, based on a share price of C$0.60.
The recent release does not alter the company’s resource, mineral inventory, metallurgical assumptions, or economic thesis. While prior high-grade results from the McIntosh property exist, they are not currently embedded in the stock price, as the shares have round-tripped from a high of C$1.40 on February 6, 2026, to the current 52-week low of C$0.60. The new results remain below the company’s own resource grade and fall short of meaningful bulk-tonnage economic thresholds.
A2 Gold Corp. (AUAU) is a Nevada-focused gold-silver explorer operating two district-scale assets. The Eastside property spans 92 km² in Esmeralda County along the Walker Lane trend, while the Taylor property covers 117 km² in White Pine County, featuring potential for gold, silver, antimony, CRD, skarn, and porphyry deposits.
The company’s Eastside project holds an inferred resource of 1.4 moz Au and 8.8 moz Ag. Additional resources include the McIntosh deposit, containing 61.73 Mt at 0.55 g/t Au and 4.4 g/t Ag, and the Castle deposit, containing 19.99 Mt at 0.49 g/t Au.
Kinross Gold owns approximately 9.9% of A2 Gold Corp. Financially, the company reported C$13.48M in cash as of March 31, 2026. For the first six months of fiscal 2026, A2 Gold Corp. recorded a net loss of C$2.39M with no revenue.
