GT Resources Reports MT Anomaly Coincident with Gold-In-Soils and IP Chargeability at CD Gold - Copper Porphyry Project, Yukon
GT’s MobileMT survey de-risks a Yukon porphyry target ahead of its planned 2027 maiden drill program.

GT Resources Inc. announced the results of its first Mobile MagnetoTellurics (MobileMT) survey at the CD Gold-Copper Project in the Yukon. The survey identified a "blind," concentric resistive body measuring approximately 1 x 1 km, which is interpreted as a buried porphyry intrusion at the Maloney Target. This resistive body coincides with an Induced Polarization (IP) chargeability anomaly, a strong gold-in-soil anomaly, and overlapping zones of brecciation and phyllic alteration.
The geological model suggests a multi-intrusive porphyry center analogous to regional deposits like Western Copper and Gold's Casino deposit. The company outlined a 2026 plan for mineralogical studies and age dating, followed by a planned 2,500 to 3,000-meter diamond drill program in 2027 to test the porphyry and vein targets.
GT Resources Inc. (GT) issued this release as a direct follow-up to the May 2026 earn-in agreement and the initiation of field work in June 2026. MobileMT results have validated the company's geological thesis and successfully de-risked the Maloney Target ahead of the maiden drilling campaign.
The news is incremental and expected within the context of a pre-drill exploration program. It does not introduce new financial metrics, change the capital structure, or trigger an immediate catalyst. The market likely priced in the progression toward drilling, resulting in a routine impact.
GT Resources Inc. (GT) is a junior exploration company focused on precious and base metals in Canada and Finland. Its flagship asset is the CD Gold-Copper Porphyry Project in the Yukon, where the company holds an earn-in agreement to acquire up to a 75% interest from Strategic Metals Ltd. The project is currently in the exploration stage, with no mineral resources or reserves reported for CD and maiden drilling planned for 2027.
The company also holds other assets, including the LK Project in Finland, which features a 2022 NI 43-101 resource for PGE-Cu-Ni; the Kuhmo Project in Finland, focused on Au-Ni; and the Canalask Project in the Yukon, which targets Cu-Ni. Both the Yukon and Finland are considered generally supportive mining jurisdictions with established infrastructure.
