Purepoint Intersects 7.4 Metres Averaging 8,760 CPS at the Unconformity in First Drill Hole at Q24, Dorado Project

Purepoint’s radiometric-only Q24 hit lacks uranium assays, leaving grade and width data incomplete for the project.

Executive Summary

Purepoint Uranium Group Inc. (PTU) reported radiometric results from its completed 2026 summer drill program at the 50/50 Dorado joint venture with IsoEnergy. The program completed 3,669 metres across the Nova, Q23, and Q24 targets. All drill intercepts are reported as core width, and true thickness is yet to be determined. Laboratory assays remain pending, and core recovery was incomplete within the higher-radioactivity Q24 interval.

Hole PG26-11, the first hole at the Q24 target, intersected 7.4 metres averaging 8,760 counts per second from 284.1 to 291.5 metres at the unconformity. The 7.4-metre interval includes 0.5 metres averaging 38,710 cps from 284.6 to 285.1 metres, with a maximum downhole probe reading of 50,110 cps. A second lower-radioactivity interval in PG26-11 averaged 1,010 cps over 6.2 metres from 297.2 to 303.4 metres. Chalcopyrite veining was observed at 294.8 metres, about 3.3 metres below the main radioactive interval.

PG26-10 at Q23 returned three narrow elevated-radioactivity intervals: - 0.8 m at 1,000 cps - 1.2 m at 1,030 cps - 1.7 m at 660 cps

Material Impact

Purepoint Uranium Group Inc. (PTU) is a pre-resource micro-cap explorer with no revenue. Its latest balance sheet, dated June 30, 2026, shows cash of about C$2.21 million and working capital of about C$2.09 million, alongside a C$1.0 million flow-through private placement closed in August 2026. The company’s Dorado joint venture is a 50/50 partnership with IsoEnergy, meaning Purepoint retains half of any eventual project success while also carrying exploration risk.

The market previously re-rated the stock on the Nova discovery, with shares peaking near C$0.80 in October 2025. The price then round-tripped to C$0.30–C$0.36 as assays failed to reproduce the original 8.1% U3O8 grade and news flow remained radiometric. The recent Q24 result identifies a new target area with similar radiometric intensity to Nova, but it is not yet an assay-confirmed step-change in scale or grade.

This represents encouraging first-pass exploration news rather than a material de-risking event.
