Purepoint Reports Winter 2026 Assays from Dorado JV's Nova Target
Purepoint’s Winter assays at Nova returned 1.65% U3O8 over 0.3m, significantly below the 8.1% discovery anchor.

Purepoint Uranium Group Inc. (PTU) has released final assay results from its winter 2026 drill program at the Nova Target, a joint venture with IsoEnergy. The company drilled nine holes, all of which are detailed in Table 1, with each intersecting at least narrow, mostly low-grade uranium mineralization.
The best result came from hole NV26-05, which returned 1.65% U3O8 over 0.3 metres from 390.4 m, accompanied by an average downhole gamma of 61,070 cps and a peak of 73,070 cps. Hole NV26-03A returned 0.04% U3O8 over 3.9 m, including 0.10% U3O8 over 0.4 m, plus a separate 0.79% U3O8 over 0.4 m from 418.2 m. Additionally, NV26-09A returned 0.07% U3O8 over 1.4 m. The remaining holes delivered very narrow, low-grade intervals ranging from 0.01% to 0.05% U3O8 over lengths of 0.2 to 0.9 m.
The release notes that the summer drill program is complete, with results to be reported shortly.
Purepoint Uranium Group Inc. (PTU) is a pre-resource uranium explorer with no revenue and no mineral resources or reserves. The Nova discovery remains the company's primary value driver, though this latest release does not extend or repeat the high-grade discovery previously identified.
The anchor result from September 2025 initially moved the stock from approximately C$0.44 to C$0.80. However, the share price has since round-tripped to C$0.36, falling below the pre-discovery level. Because that anchor result is no longer embedded in the current share price, this weaker assay result is not considered a major new valuation shock, but rather an expected modest miss.
Attention now shifts to the pending summer program assays, which are viewed as the more important catalyst.
Purepoint Uranium Group Inc. (PTU) is a TSXV-listed uranium exploration company focused on the Athabasca Basin in Saskatchewan. Its flagship Dorado Project is a 50/50 joint venture with IsoEnergy Ltd. covering more than 98,000 hectares along the eastern margin of the basin. The Dorado property hosts the Nova Discovery, where previous drilling returned assays up to 8.1% U3O8 over 0.4 m within 1.6% U3O8 over 2.1 m.
Purepoint also operates the Aurora and Celeste blocks with IsoEnergy and holds the Hook Lake and Smart Lake projects under joint ventures with Cameco and Orano. Wholly owned assets include the Tabbernor Project and additional exploration-stage uranium properties. The company also holds a VMS asset optioned near Eldorado Gold’s McIlvenna Bay project. As a junior explorer, Purepoint has no revenue and no defined mineral resources or reserves.
