Pelangio Completes Successful 2026 Manfo Drill Program, Demonstrating Extensions at Pokukrom East
Pelangio confirmed low-grade extensions at Manfo, though follow-up drilling failed to intersect the high-grade shoot.

Pelangio Exploration Inc. (PX) has completed its 2026 Manfo resource-extension diamond drill program at the Pokukrom deposits in Ghana. The total program consisted of 12 holes for 2,951.2 metres, with three holes drilled at Pokukrom West and nine at Pokukrom East.
The company released final assays for five previously unreported Pokukrom East holes: SPDD26-004, SPDD26-009, SPDD26-010, SPDD26-011, and SPDD26-012. Key intercepts from these holes include:
- SPDD26-009: 43 metres at 0.54 g/t Au, including 18 metres at 0.82 g/t Au, plus 8 metres at 0.80 g/t Au.
- SPDD26-011: Multiple zones, best 9 metres at 0.92 g/t Au and 4.9 metres at 1.81 g/t Au.
- SPDD26-010: Multiple narrow low-grade zones.
- SPDD26-012: 2 metres at 0.72 g/t Au.
- SPDD26-004: No significant intercepts (NSV).
The release also repeated the results for the previously reported anchor hole SPDD26-008, which returned 26 metres at 2.99 g/t Au, including 6 metres at 11.74 g/t Au. A PhotonAssay check on 66 samples from SPDD26-008 returned grades 14.5% higher than fire assay.
The Manfo resource remains at Indicated 441,000 oz at 1.16 g/t Au and Inferred 396,000 oz at 0.77 g/t Au.
Pelangio Exploration Inc. (PX) released results that did not include a new resource estimate, changes to resource classification, or any metallurgical or economic study. The previously reported 150-metre north extension from SPDD26-008 remains the most significant result of the program, as today’s release adds no comparable new grade.
New drill holes present a modest negative signal for continuity. Holes near SPDD26-008 failed to reproduce the high-grade shoot, and holes to the south limit that extension direction. As a resource-stage explorer, the company held approximately C$3.63 million in cash as at Q1 2026 and faces a stated risk of a working-capital deficit within 12 months. This release does not materially de-risk financing or the resource.
From the price chart, the stock has round-tripped most of its June 2026 SPDD26-008 rally, meaning the anchor is not strongly embedded. The new results do not clear even that lowered bar; they are incremental and mostly low-grade.
Pelangio Exploration Inc. (TSXV: PX, OTC Pink: PGXPF) is a Canadian gold explorer whose principal asset is the 100%-owned Manfo Gold Project in the Sefwi Gold Belt of Ghana. The Manfo property hosts an NI 43-101 resource estimate comprising an Indicated category of 441,000 ounces at 1.16 grams per tonne of gold and an Inferred category of 396,000 ounces at 0.77 grams per tonne of gold.
The company also holds other Ghanaian assets, including the Obuasi property adjacent to AngloGold Ashanti’s Obuasi mine and the Dankran property, which features historical high-grade intercepts. Additionally, Pelangio maintains Canadian exploration assets, some of which are optioned or joint-ventured to manage costs. The company currently has no production, no revenue, and no economic study provided in this release.
