Vortex Announces Preliminary Interpretation of Geophysics Survey on Illapel Copper Project

Vortex Metals Inc. (VMS) released the preliminary interpretation of a completed 180 square kilometer helicopter airborne geophysical survey at its Illapel Copper-Silver Project in Chile. The survey utilized high-resolution magnetic, VLF, and Gamma-ray spectrometry with 100-meter line spacing, covering 2,000 line-kilometers.
Initial data indicates that known mineralization correlates with well-defined magnetic lows. The interpretation suggests favorable geological structures may extend beneath surface cover, creating new targets for high-grade, manto-style mineralization. The technical content was reviewed and approved by Qualified Person Juan Carlos Fernández, P. Geo.
Vortex Metals Inc. released this update as a direct follow-up to the April 2026 completion of the same geophysical survey. The findings confirm the company's geological model and identify new exploration targets, though they do not provide drill results, resource estimates, or financial updates. The results are consistent with prior Phase II exploration plans and do not alter the company's near-term capital requirements or operational timeline.
Vortex Metals Inc. (VMS) is a junior exploration company focused on copper-gold-silver assets in Chile and Mexico. Its flagship Illapel Copper-Silver Project is located in the Coquimbo Region of northern Chile. Classified as an advanced brownfield, the property is fully permitted for exploration and sits within a prolific copper belt.
Geological targets include high-grade, manto-style copper-silver mineralization and iron-oxide-copper-gold (IOCG) systems. Phase I drilling confirmed low-resistivity sulfide zones and high-grade intercepts.
