Highway 50 Announces Large-Scale Gold Discovery at Gold Knob Project, Nevada
Highway 50 reports a broad 52m interval at 0.60 g/t gold, interpreted as bulk tonnage rather than high-grade bonanza mineralization.

Highway 50 Gold Corp. (HWY) has released the first assay results from Phase I drilling at its Gold Knob project in Nevada. The company reported that hole GK-26-9A returned 51.82 m grading 0.60 g/t Au from 130.0 m to 181.2 m, measured as core length.
The release highlights two internal intervals from the same hole: - 4.6 m at 1.02 g/t Au from 161.5 m - 4.6 m at 2.74 g/t Au from 144.6 m
These results are being compared to historic hole BV-3, located 152 m north, which returned 12.2 m at 0.73 g/t Au. The new hole is significantly thicker but carries a slightly lower grade than the historic intercept.
Additionally, follow-up hole GK-26-18, situated approximately 1.15 km southeast, cut 13.7 m of visually similar geology from 455 m to 469 m. Assays for this hole are pending.
The company has staked 205 additional claims and states that drilling is ongoing. While the release employs "Large-Scale Gold Discovery" language and links the project to the Carlin, Turquoise Ridge, and Cortez geological settings, the current hard data consists of a single assayed hole.
Highway 50 Gold Corp. (HWY) is a pre-resource, micro-cap explorer with no revenue and approximately C$5.0 million in cash as of Q1 2026. The company’s recent release constitutes an exploration drill result rather than a resource or mine-life event.
The announcement marks the first new assay from the Gold Knob Phase I program and features a section significantly thicker than a nearby historic hole. However, the result does not establish a resource, provide true width or metallurgy, or confirm continuity.
The stock had already appreciated from approximately C$0.40 on August 31 to C$0.52 by September 11, suggesting that some speculative anticipation may be reflected in the price.
