Quadro JV outlines gold-in-soil anomaly at Staghorn

Mr. T. Barry Coughlan reports QUADRO REPORTS NEW GOLD-IN-SOIL ANOMALY AT THE STAGHORN PROPERTY, NEWFOUNDLAND Quadro Resources Ltd. has released exploration results announced by Tru Precious Metals Corp. in its news release dated Sept. 8, 2026. A newly identified gold-in-soil anomaly has been outlined on the Staghorn property in central Newfoundland and Labrador. The property is held through a joint venture in which Quadro holds a 49-per-cent interest and Tru holds a 51-per-cent interest. The Woods Lake Southwest anomaly measures approximately 450 metres by 450 metres and is located mainly within the Staghorn joint venture claims, close to the interpreted surface trace of the Valentine Lake shear zone (VLSZ). The anomaly was identified during Tru's 2026 soil sampling program in an area that had not previously been subject to rigorous geochemical sampling. Appropriate follow-up work is under review. Highlights: A coherent gold-in-soil anomaly measuring approximately 450 metres by 450 metres has been identified southwest of the Woods Lake mineralized zone. The Woods Lake Southwest anomaly is located mainly within the Staghorn joint venture claims, in proximity to the interpreted surface trace of the VLSZ. Tru, as operator of the joint venture, is reviewing appropriate follow-up work. Previous Woods Lake area results Previous drilling at the Woods Lake mineralized zone returned the following gold intercepts: 1.26 grams per tonne gold over 18.9 metres in drill hole WL-21-03, including 2.13 g/t Au over 9.9 metres; 1.71 g/t Au over 7.0 metres in drill hole WL-21-06, including 2.39 g/t Au over 4.0 metres; 1.01 g/t Au over 12.0 metres in drill hole WL-21-12; 1.51 g/t Au over 11.0 metres in drill hole WL-21-05, within a wider interval of 0.59 g/t Au over 38.0 metres. The reported intervals represent down-hole lengths; true widths have not been determined. Further information concerning the previous drilling results is available in Tru's news releases dated Jan. 11, 2022, March 3, 2022, and April 7, 2022. The information above has been summarized from Tru's news release dated Sept. 8, 2026. Readers should refer to Tru's news release for the complete exploration results and related technical disclosure. Quality assurance/quality control statement During all exploration sampling and analysis works on its Golden Rose project, Tru maintains a strict quality assurance program, implements a quality control program and has a sample security procedure in place. These are tailored as necessary to be appropriate to the types of samples being collected. Samples reported on in this news release comprised geochemical (soils) samples taken by a third party expert contracting field team under the supervision of Joel Cranford, PGeo, the Tru project geologist. The samples were each packed in tie-sealed paper bags, uniquely numbered at the site of sampling and delivered to the Tru on-site camp by the Tru geological field crews. QA/QC samples comprising blanks and certified standards were inserted into the sample runs prior to samples being loaded into rice sacks, in accordance with Tru standard operating procedure for QA/QC sample selection and insertion. Insertion rates for blanks and certified standards were approximately 2.5 per cent (each) of all samples submitted for assay. Bagged samples for analysis were packed into tie-locked rice sacks and transported by the Tru project geologist or appointed representative directly to the Eastern Analytical laboratory in Springdale, Nfld. Chemical analysis of soil samples was carried out at Eastern Analytical Laboratories in Springdale, Nfld. (403 Little Bay Rd., Springdale, Nfld., A0J 1T0), a commercial geoscience laboratory that is ISO 17025 accredited (for fire assay gold and for multiacid ore-grade assays in copper, lead, zinc, silver, iron and cobalt) and completely independent of Tru. Samples were analyzed using fire assay (30 grams) with atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS) finish for gold values. Qualified person Wayne Reid, PGeo, vice-president, exploration, for Quadro and a qualified person as defined in National Instrument 43-101, is responsible for this release and supervised the preparation of the information forming the basis for this release.
