Quadro JV outlines gold-in-soil anomaly at Staghorn
Quadro identifies a new soil anomaly at the Staghorn project, expanding its exploration pipeline while follow-up drilling costs remain unpriced.

Quadro Resources Ltd. and its joint venture partner, Tru Precious Metals Corp., have identified a new gold-in-soil anomaly at the Staghorn Property in Newfoundland. The target, designated "Woods Lake Southwest," spans approximately 450m by 450m and is situated near the interpreted surface trace of the Valentine Lake shear zone (VLSZ).
Tru Precious Metals, which holds a 51% interest and serves as the operator, is currently reviewing appropriate follow-up work for the new target. The company’s release references historical drilling at the nearby Woods Lake zone, noting intercepts ranging from 1.01 g/t Au over 12.0m to 1.71 g/t Au over 7.0m. Management explicitly states that true widths have not been determined for these historical intervals. Samples were analyzed via fire assay with AAS finish at Eastern Analytical Laboratories, following standard QA/QC protocols.
Quadro Resources Ltd. (QRO) released an incremental exploration update characterized by soil anomalies that serve as preliminary indicators. These findings frequently fail to translate into economic mineralization without subsequent drilling. The announcement aligns with the established exploration timeline following the July 2025 joint venture agreement and the August 2026 land expansion. It does not introduce new financing, change the joint venture structure, or alter capital requirements.
Historical drilling intercepts were reported without true widths, limiting their geological significance. The market has already priced in the joint venture structure and the initial 2025 drilling results. No immediate price impact is expected, as the stock remains in a tight consolidation range and the update lacks the drilling confirmation or resource definition required to move the valuation materially.
Quadro Resources Ltd. is a Canada-focused junior exploration company targeting gold and base metals in Newfoundland and Labrador. Its flagship asset is the Staghorn Gold Project, located in the Victoria Lake area along the auriferous Cape Ray Fault Zone. The project tenure consists of 133 claims covering 3,325 hectares with a ~12 km strike length. The project is in the exploration stage with no disclosed mineral resources or reserves.
The company’s Long Lake Gold Project, covering approximately 4,742 hectares, was expanded in August 2026 with the acquisition of 53 additional claims. The assets benefit from proximity to major infrastructure, including roads, ferry routes, powerlines, an airport, and a deep sea port.
