Juggernaut Drills Up To 20.24 Meters Of Quartz-Sulphide Mineralization In Whopper Zone Containing Galena Sphalerite And Chalcopyrite Over A Strike Length Of 600 Meters And To A Depth Of 580 Meters That Remains Wide Open For Expansion On New District Scale

Juggernaut Exploration Ltd. (JUGR) has released initial observations from its maiden drill program at the Big One property in the Golden Triangle, British Columbia, confirming that the Whopper Zone extends to a depth of 580 meters and a strike length of 600 meters. While drill assays for the reported holes are currently pending, surface grab samples have returned up to 44.76 g/t AuEq, and channel samples have yielded up to 6.89 g/t AuEq over 4.00 meters, supporting the district-scale potential of the system.

The company has expanded its fully funded 2026 drill program by approximately 30%, increasing the total planned drilling from 10,000 meters to approximately 13,000 meters. Two drill rigs are planned to operate until mid-to-late September 2026 to support this expanded scope.

Geological observations from the initial drilling highlight significant mineralization within the Whopper Zone. The following intercepts describe the geological characteristics observed in the core, with assays pending:

  • BO-26-17: 20.24 m from 236.20 m to 256.44 m; contains multiple quartz-sulphide veins and veinlets up to 1 m wide with pyrite, sphalerite, and galena in strongly sheared diorite.
  • BO-26-16: 17.59 m from 231.12 m to 248.71 m; characterized by quartz-sulphide veining within strongly foliated diorite with pervasive sericite and chlorite alteration.
  • BO-26-11: 13.08 m from 232.02 m to 245.10 m; contains multiple quartz-sulphide veins with massive pyrite, semi-massive sphalerite, chalcopyrite, and galena in sheared diorite.
  • BO-26-23: Intercepted three mineralized shear zones. Whopper Zone intercepted in 5.01 m from 300.31 m to 305.32 m (sphalerite and pyrite in veins/veinlets). Additional shear zones identified from 257.19 m to 259.47 m and 350.60 m to 355.77 m.
  • BO-26-19: 3.24 m from 236.66 m to 239.90 m; strongly foliated and locally sheared diorite with quartz-sulphide veins containing pyrite, galena, and sphalerite.
  • BO-26-15: 3.18 m from 242.53 m to 245.71 m; quartz-sulphide veins with sphalerite, pyrite, and chalcopyrite in sheared and sericite-chlorite altered diorite.
  • BO-26-24: 5.02 m from 620.82 m to 625.84 m; quartz-sulphide veins with pyrite in strongly foliated and chlorite-sericite altered diorite. Drilling ongoing.

In addition to the Whopper Zone, surface sampling has identified high-grade anomalies across the property. Grab samples from the Eldorado System returned up to 263.70 g/t AuEq (8.48 oz/t AuEq), while the Gold Swarm Discovery yielded grab samples up to 231.81 g/t AuEq (7.45 oz/t AuEq). Visible gold (VG) and coarse-grained free-milling gold up to 150 microns have been identified in surface samples. A petrographic study by the Colorado School of Mines confirms a magmatic origin for the mineralization via fluid inclusions.

The Whopper Zone remains wide open laterally and at depth. Pervasive propylitic alteration has been observed in all drill holes intercepting the Whopper Zone, indicating proximity to a buried porphyry core.

Assay work is being conducted by MSALABS, with sample preparation in Terrace, BC, PhotonAssay analysis in Prince George, BC, and multi-element analysis in Surrey, BC. Gold analysis utilizes the PhotonAssay method (CPA-Au1) using high-energy X-rays, with samples containing ≥5 ppm analyzed to extinction. Multi-element analysis employs ICF6xx and IMS-230 methods involving 4-acid digestion followed by ICP-ES. Quality assurance and control protocols include Certified Reference Materials (CRMs), blanks, and duplicates inserted at a 10% rate, with additional out-of-sequence blanks introduced after samples with visible gold or high-grade sulphides.

Drill core intervals are reported as drill lengths, with true width estimated to be 80-90% of the length. No specific cutoff grade was disclosed for the drill intervals; instead, intervals were defined by geologically meaningful zone widths and assay results.

“The extensive Whopper Zone, where drilling has already confirmed 600 m of strike and 580 of depth and remains open, as well as the recently reported Big Mac Zone with 450 m of strike and 500 m of depth and remains open, are both strongly indicated to be part of a district-scale mineralizing system that has many of the early indicators required to become the next big discovery in British Columbia’s Golden Triangle,” said Manuele (Lele) Lazzarotto, President and COO.
