BBB · Price
Executive Summary
- Completed the season’s drilling program at the Trapper Gold Target, totaling 6,272 m from 30 holes.
- Significant intercepts include 6.40 m @ 4.61 g/t Au (including 1.50 m @ 14.30 g/t Au) and 15.00 m @ 2.26 g/t Au (including 3.00 m @ 4.68 g/t Au).
- Mineralization remains open to the northeast, southeast and north; further structural interpretation and drilling are planned for the next campaign.
Key Details
- Drilling Scope: 6,272 m drilled across 30 holes; assays pending on remaining 18 holes with visible gold noted.
- Hole THN25‑337:
- 6.40 m @ 4.61 g/t Au from 27.10 m depth (incl. 1.50 m @ 14.30 g/t Au).
- Additional intervals: 4.00 m @ 1.44 g/t Au; 0.50 m @ 5.48 g/t Au; 1.50 m @ 3.03 g/t Au.
- Hole THN25‑339:
- 15.00 m @ 2.26 g/t Au from 16.00 m depth (incl. 3.00 m @ 4.68 g/t Au).
- Additional intervals: 5.00 m @ 2.60 g/t Au; 1.50 m @ 6.70 g/t Au; 1.50 m @ 3.50 g/t Au; 1.50 m @ 7.06 g/t Au; several smaller high‑grade sections down to 288 m depth.
- Hole THN25‑336: Collared 78 m east of pad, drilled to 220 m depth; returned no significant mineralization.
- Geology: Mineralization hosted in Triassic lapilli tuff volcanic rocks intruded by Cretaceous quartz diorite and a feldspar porphyry dike; higher grades near contacts between units. Vein assemblage includes pyrite‑sphalerite‑galena.
- Drill Geometry: Holes 337 & 339 drilled from same pad, azimuths 10°/30°, dips –45°/–40°, depths 389 m and 346 m respectively; located ~36 m SSW of previous hole THN22‑239.
- QA/QC: Core sampled at 1.5 m intervals (0.5‑1 m for high‑grade); 15% blanks, duplicates, certified references; analyzed by ALS Minerals (fire assay + AAS for Au, ICP‑MS for base metals).
- Qualified Person: Madeline Berry, P.Geo., Project Geologist, NI 43‑101 QP, has verified data.
Notable Quotes
“Mineralization at Trapper is structurally controlled and was subjected to post‑mineral displacement. Further drilling is required to expand on these faulted and dislocated blocks… Further structural interpretation is planned prior to the next drill campaign.” – Gary R. Thompson, Chairman & CEO
