REV Completes 3D Seismic Survey at Montana Helium Project
Rev completes its helium survey in Montana, shifting focus to drilling targets for the project.

Rev Exploration Corp. (REVX) announced the successful completion of an 8.5 square mile (22 sq. km) 3D seismic survey at its West Butte Project in Montana. The survey was conducted by Tetra Tech using a mixed-source wireless node methodology, combining Vibroseis and dynamite, across challenging terrain.
High-quality data is currently being processed and interpreted to delineate specific drilling targets for helium and natural hydrogen exploration. The project sits within a geologically continuous helium system featuring known fault-controlled migration pathways and reservoir intervals. This milestone positions REV to potentially become the first company to explore for naturally occurring hydrogen at this location. The interpreted data will directly support the delineation of upcoming drilling locations, advancing the project toward its first-ever drill program.
Rev Exploration Corp. (REVX) confirmed the completion of its planned 3D seismic survey, a direct follow-up to the June 17, 2026 announcement that the survey had commenced. This development marks the execution of a pre-announced exploration step rather than introducing a new discovery or unexpected catalyst.
The completion aligns with management's stated timeline to finish seismic work and advance to drilling in the second half of 2026. While the milestone validates technical execution and maintains the project's trajectory toward drill-ready status, the announcement is considered incremental and expected, as the market was already aware of the survey timeline and objectives. The fundamental risk/reward profile remains unchanged until actual drilling results are released.
Rev Exploration Corp. is pivoting its exploration focus toward helium and natural hydrogen in America's Northern Great Plains, while maintaining a gold portfolio in Quebec. The company recently sold its Quebec gold assets to Major Gold Corp. to concentrate capital on the Montana and Alberta helium and hydrogen corridor.
The company’s flagship projects include the West Butte Project in Montana, where 8.5 sq. km of 3D seismic has been completed, and the Aden Dome Project on the Alberta/Montana border, which stands as a drill-ready target for natural hydrogen and associated gases. Rev Exploration is now targeting its first helium and natural hydrogen drill program at these sites. Additionally, the company holds a 6 million share stake, representing approximately 5% of MAX Power Mining Corp., which is advancing the Lawson natural hydrogen discovery.
