Bitterroot buys surface estate on LM property
Bitterroot secures the LM estate while its $52k cash and failed Nevada project demand urgent capital.

Bitterroot Resources Ltd., through its subsidiary Trans Superior Resources Inc., has purchased the surface estate of the LM nickel-copper property in Michigan for $170,000. The acquisition secures operational control for mineral exploration alongside joint venture partner Below Exploration Inc. To facilitate drilling on the east half of the property, the company obtained a three-year access and road use permit from a local timber company.
An archaeological survey was completed with no resources identified, a step that advances the Defence Production Act Title III environmental review. Management plans to drill the 400- to 700-metre depth range at LM, subject to financing. Regional activity continues with Talon Metals and Perseverance Metals drilling nearby targets.
Bitterroot Resources Ltd. (BTT) has completed a $170,000 acquisition, a move the company describes as operationally necessary but financially immaterial relative to its market capitalization. The transaction does not address the critical liquidity crisis highlighted in the Q2-2026 MD&A, where cash stands at $52,211 and working capital is deficient by $612,133.
Additionally, the Nighthawk gold/silver project in Nevada returned no significant mineralization, and its future is under review, effectively removing a potential near-term catalyst. The news represents standard operational housekeeping and does not alter the fundamental risk profile or valuation of the stock.
Bitterroot Resources Ltd. is a junior mineral explorer focused on the LM Nickel-Copper-Platinum Group Metals (PGM) property in Michigan's Baraga basin. The Baraga basin is geologically significant as it hosts the only operating nickel mine in the U.S., Talon Metals' Eagle mine.
The LM property hosts a magma conduit with disseminated to massive sulphide mineralization, with the most prospective untested zone located at 400-700 metres depth. The company also holds a 100% interest in the Nighthawk Gold/Silver project in Nevada (now under review) and a 51% interest in the Voyageur Lands joint venture with Perseverance Metals.
