Adyton Resources Increases Indicated Resources by 131% at Fergusson Island Gameta Project

Adyton’s Gameta resource jumps 131%, with Wapolu production remaining the critical near-term catalyst for the project.

Executive Summary

Adyton Resources Corporation announced an updated NI 43-101 Mineral Resource Estimate for its Gameta Gold Project on Fergusson Island, Papua New Guinea. The update reflects approximately 4,000 meters of infill drilling completed in 2025, resulting in a 131% increase in the Indicated Mineral Resource to 404,000 oz Au (8.94 Mt @ 1.41 g/t Au). The Inferred Resource increased to 207,000 oz Au (6.52 Mt @ 0.99 g/t Au).

Resources for the Wapolu Project were also updated, with the Indicated category reaching 37,000 oz Au (1.25 Mt @ 0.92 g/t Au) and the Inferred category rising to 419,000 oz Au (14.72 Mt @ 0.89 g/t Au). Consequently, the total Fergusson Island Indicated Resource now stands at 441,000 oz Au, while the Inferred total is 626,000 oz Au.

Technical assumptions for the estimate include a $3,500/oz gold price, a 0.4 g/t cut-off, 90% recovery, and a 2.5% royalty. Next steps include advancing the Wapolu Mining Lease application, initiating technical and environmental workstreams for the Gameta Mining Lease, and advancing Gameta feasibility studies. Wapolu production restart is targeted for Q4 2026.

Material Impact

Adyton Resources Corporation (ADY) released an updated Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for its Gameta project, a milestone that aligns with management’s previous guidance for an updated MRE in the second half of 2026. The update includes a 131% increase in Indicated resources, which provides a stronger geological foundation for the upcoming feasibility study and mining lease application.

The news does not alter the immediate production timeline, capital requirements, or joint venture structure. Wapolu remains the near-term cash flow driver, with production still targeted for Q4 2026. The update is incremental to the company's development path and does not trigger new financing or strategic shifts.

Company Overview

Adyton Resources Corporation (ADY) is a mineral exploration and development company focused on gold and copper assets in Papua New Guinea. Its flagship operations include the 100%-owned Feni Island project, which holds an inferred resource of 1.46 moz Au, and the Fergusson Island joint venture with EVIH, encompassing the Wapolu and Gameta projects.

Adyton’s strategy is to generate near-term cash flow from Fergusson Island to fund the development of the Tier-1 Feni Island resource. Exploration is currently underway at Feni Island to expand the resource and identify porphyry targets. On Fergusson Island, the Wapolu historic mine is targeted for a restart in Q4 2026, while the Gameta project is positioned as a development-ready open-pit operation.
