Infield Minerals Expands Land Position at the Kings Canyon Gold Project in Utah
Infield adds 85% land to Kings Canyon, fueling a 2026 Carlin-type gold exploration push.

Infield Minerals Corp. expanded its Kings Canyon land package in western Utah by approximately 85% through the staking of 132 new lode claims. The total land position increased from 3,135 acres to 5,818 acres, consolidating ground contiguous with existing holdings under a February 28, 2024 option agreement.
The newly acquired claims provide increased exposure to favorable carbonate host rocks, anomalous geochemical trends including gold, arsenic, and antimony, and structural features associated with Carlin-type gold mineralization. A prominent magnetic anomaly was also identified, introducing new exploration targets that the company plans to integrate into its 2026 exploration campaign.
Technical information was reviewed and approved by Andrea Diakow, P.Geo., a Qualified Person under NI 43-101. The release explicitly states that the potential quantity and grade of mineralization is conceptual in nature, with insufficient exploration to define a mineral resource.
Infield Minerals Corp. (IN) has expanded its land holdings, a move consistent with the company’s stated strategy to consolidate ground around existing assets and pursue new discoveries. This incremental step does not introduce new financial obligations, immediate drilling results, or revenue-generating milestones. The announcement aligns with the January 2026 corporate update, which outlined plans for detailed mapping, sampling, and isotope work at Kings Canyon. The news represents routine operational progress without near-term catalysts or financial implications.
Infield Minerals Corp. is an exploration-stage gold company focused on projects in the western United States, specifically in Nevada and Utah. Its flagship asset is the Kings Canyon Gold Project in Utah, which hosts near-surface oxide gold deposits in the Crown and Royal zones. The company also owns the Detroit Property in Utah, which has recently been expanded to 14,122 acres. This property features sediment-hosted gold and porphyry copper-gold potential, and is located in proximity to the past-producing Drum mine. Additionally, Infield Minerals Corp. holds the Goldendale Property in Nevada, an epithermal gold-silver project that is 100% owned. The company is currently seeking partnership or option agreements for the Goldendale asset. Management is led by CEO Evandra Nakano and QP Andrea Diakow.
