Golden Minerals Announces Formation of Sand Canyon Joint Venture

Golden Minerals Company (AUMN) has completed the formation of Sand Canyon Explorations LLC, a joint venture with Golden Gryphon USA, Inc. (GGUSA). Under the agreement, Golden Minerals holds a 60% ownership interest and serves as the initial manager, while GGUSA holds the remaining 40%.
The 2026 exploration program aims to enhance geological understanding and evaluate exploration potential through geophysical surveys and mapping. No immediate drilling is planned for the near term, as the focus is on data acquisition to inform future work. Historical drilling in Q1 2020 intersected narrow vein and breccia structures but yielded only low anomalous values of silver, arsenic, antimony, and molybdenum, with no economic concentrations of precious metals.
