Legacy Gold Extends Zone 150m (492ft) South and Proves Mineralization in 150m (492ft) Gap in the North at the Baner Gold Mine Property, Idaho
Legacy confirms low-grade bulk-tonnage model at Baner with 150m extensions, supporting its step-out and gap-fill exploration strategy.

Legacy Gold Mines Ltd. (LEGY) released first assay results on July 28, 2026, from two core holes (LG26-009 and LG26-015) from the 2026 Phase 1 program at Baner, Idaho.
Drill hole LG26-009 intersected five mineralized zones. The highlighted intercept returned 2.9 g/t Au and 41.8 g/t Ag over 3.6 m (core length), interpreted as extending Main Zone 150 m south. An additional intercept in LG26-009 returned 0.43 g/t Au over 16.9 m (core length).
Hole LG26-015 filled a 150 m gap at the northern end of Main Zone, returning 1.1 g/t Au over 12.4 m and 0.42 g/t Au over 14.5 m. Oriented core from LG26-015 and pending LG26-010 confirms flat, east-dipping geometry. The company stated that drilling proves mineralization extends uphill and beyond the Exploration Target area to the south.
Legacy Gold Mines Ltd. (LEGY) confirmed the continuity of its low-grade system over an additional 150 meters to the south, effectively bridging a 150-meter gap. This extension does not transform the project or alter the resource size and grade, as the existing Exploration Target already accounted for kilometers of strike. The addition of 150 meters is considered incremental, particularly since the market had already priced in a large bulk tonnage target. The stock has consolidated near $0.90 following a run-up in May 2026 to $1.27, and such step-out results are unlikely to re-rate the equity. For a junior explorer, this represents routine activity rather than a game-changing event, with no new discovery, bonanza hit, or extension into previously undrilled zones, as the southern area was already envisioned as open.
Legacy Gold Mines Ltd. is a Canadian junior explorer holding an option to acquire 100% of the Baner Gold Mine Property in Idaho County, Idaho. The property is situated in the historic Orogrande Gold District, where gold mineralization is hosted in quartzite within the Orogrande Shear Zone.
The company has outlined a conceptual Exploration Target, which is not compliant with NI 43-101 standards. This target estimates 50.3–55.3 million tonnes at 0.72–0.91 g/t Au, with cyanide leach recoveries ranging from 87–93%.
Following financing in April 2026, Legacy Gold Mines Ltd. is expected to hold approximately C$8.3 million in cash. The company currently has a market capitalization of roughly C$55 million and carries no debt.
