Orestone Advances Exploration at Tom East and Kelly Gold Zones on the Francisca Gold Silver Property in Salta Province Argentina
Orestone’s Francisca Trend extends 1.5km with Tom East and Kelly zones showing oxide potential.

Orestone Mining Corp. released an exploration update on July 20, 2026, detailing follow-up work at the Tom East and Kelly gold zones on the Francisca Gold-Silver Property in Salta, Argentina. The Francisca Gold Trend now spans a 1,500-meter northwest strike length, featuring oxide gold-silver systems at surface and significant induced polarization (IP) chargeability anomalies suggesting potential buried sulphide porphyry systems.
At the Tom East Gold Zone, hand trench sampling in Trench 6B yielded 4.45 g/t gold over 21 meters in soft clay altered colluvium mixed with chalcedonic quartz. A detailed soil sampling program on a 200m x 200m grid has been initiated to support drill targeting.
At the Kelly Gold Zone, rock chip sampling defined an east-west trending quartz-limonite vein stockwork zone over a width of 50 meters grading 0.37 g/t gold and 2.15 g/t silver. The zone is underlain by a 600-meter wide IP chargeability anomaly >7.9 mV/V and remains open in multiple directions.
Management emphasizes a disciplined, low-cost exploration strategy integrating modern geological mapping, geochemistry, and geophysics to identify high-quality drill targets.
Orestone Mining Corp. (ORS) released its July 20 update as a direct follow-up to the June 26, 2026 announcement, which established a 1.5km strike length and reported initial sampling at Kelly and Tom East. This latest update confirms the continuity of the oxide trend and outlines the immediate next step: soil sampling to refine drill targets. The release does not introduce new discoveries, change the exploration budget, or alter the planned Phase II drilling scope.
The news aligns with previous expectations and management's stated roadmap. While the update maintains exploration momentum, it lacks the novelty or scale required to move the stock materially. The findings validate the geological model but do not change the near-term liquidity position or investment thesis.
Orestone Mining Corp. is a junior exploration company focused on gold and copper-gold properties in Argentina and British Columbia. Its flagship asset is the Francisca Gold-Silver Property in Salta Province, Argentina, which covers 23 square kilometers. Orestone holds an option to earn up to an 85% interest by spending US$4.2 million in cash and exploration expenditures over seven years.
The company also owns the Captain Gold-Copper Property in British Columbia. This 100%-owned asset hosts a gold-dominant porphyry system with historical intercepts and recent geophysical surveys. It is permitted for 79 drill locations.
The company is currently in the exploration stage, specifically in target definition and drilling preparation. No mineral resources or reserves have been defined.
