Almonty Industries Establishes U.S. Corporate Headquarters, Reinforcing Role as America's Tungsten Supplier
Almonty Industries Inc. (AII) has moved its headquarters to Montana.

Almonty Industries Inc. (AII) has established its corporate headquarters in Dillon, Montana, relocating from Toronto, Canada. The move is designed to enhance proximity to U.S. government agencies, defense contractors, and industrial partners, reinforcing the company’s position as a Western-aligned tungsten supplier.
The relocation follows a period of significant capital expansion, including a successful Nasdaq initial public offering that raised $90 million in July 2025 and a follow-on financing round of $129 million in December 2025. Operationally, the company has completed the acquisition of the Gentung Tungsten Project in Montana, with production slated to restart in 2026. Additionally, Almonty has entered into a new strategic partnership with American Defense International, Inc.
To support its defense-focused strategy, the company has appointed former senior U.S. Army generals to its board. On the operational front, the Sangdong Phase 1 project is complete, while the Gentung project remains on track for a production start.
Almonty Industries Inc. (AII) confirmed its strategic intent to redomicile to the United States, a move that reinforces its positioning as a U.S. supplier for defense contracts. The relocation aligns with statements made in the company’s January 2026 Shareholder Letter, which noted that "Almonty intends to relocate its corporate domicile to the United States." The announcement does not introduce new production data or financial metrics beyond those disclosed in the March 2026 Q4 results and the Phase 1 completion announcement.
The market has already priced in significant growth expectations, with the stock price appreciating from approximately $3.66 in April 2025 to a high of $28.30 in March 2026. This news serves as a confirmation of strategy rather than a new catalyst. The move is administrative and strategic, aimed at securing long-term government contracts rather than generating immediate revenue.
The valuation multiple remains elevated, with a Price-to-Sales ratio of approximately 180x based on FY2025 revenue of C$32.5M against a $5.85B market cap. This news does not mitigate the fundamental risk of high valuation relative to current earnings capabilities.
Almonty Industries Inc. (AII) is a tungsten mining company focused on establishing a non-China supply chain for Western defense and technology sectors. The company operates assets in South Korea (Sangdong), Portugal (Panasqueira), Spain, and the U.S. (Genting).
Its flagship project is the Sangdong Tungsten Mine in South Korea. Phase 1 is complete, with a commissioning ceremony held in March 2026. Phase 1 targets approximately 640,000 tonnes of ore per year, producing around 2,300 tonnes of concentrate. A second phase is scheduled for 2027 and aims to double this capacity. At full capacity, the mine is expected to supply approximately 40% of global non-China tungsten demand.
The company also holds the Gentung Browns Lake Tungsten Project in Montana, USA, which it acquired in late 2025. Production from this site is targeted for the second half of 2026. The project has a indicated resource of 7.53 million tonnes at 0.315% WO3.
