Sitka Drills 164.0 Metres of 1.83 g/t Gold Including 45.0 Metres of 3.49 g/t Gold and 2.0 Metres of 15.35 g/t Gold at Its RC Gold Project, Yukon
Sitka’s bulk-tonnage RIRGS gold project hosts a 5 moz resource defined by 60 km of drilling across wide intervals with high-grade cores.

Sitka Gold Corp. (SIG) has released assay results from Blackjack hole DDRCCC-26-128, which returned 348.0 m @ 1.12 g/t Au. This intercept includes 164.0 m @ 1.83 g/t, 45.0 m @ 3.49 g/t, and narrow spikes of 2.0 m @ 15.35 g/t and 2.0 m @ 13.65 g/t.
The company also highlighted results from the first seven holes of the 2026 Rhosgobel drilling program. Highlights include 74.8 m @ 0.91 g/t Au (including 56.1 m @ 1.12 g/t) and 11.4 m @ 1.00 g/t Au (including 28.1 m @ 1.08 g/t).
Regarding program status, approximately 24,000 m of the planned 60,000 m has been completed. Six rigs are currently active, and the Blackjack deposit remains open. Visible gold was observed in all but one hole at both deposits. CEO commentary emphasized the scale, continuity, and growth potential of the project.
Sitka Gold Corp. (SIG) reported drill results from the Blackjack and Rhosgobel holes. The Blackjack intercept was consistent with the deposit’s known profile, showing no new zones, major step-outs, or grade uplifts beyond previous observations. Rhosgobel results were incremental, yielding modest gram-metres in a deposit that already holds a 2.25 moz inferred resource at 0.7 g/t.
As a junior explorer with no production, the company relies on drill results to drive news flow until they can be tied to measurable resource expansion. The market had previously priced in a large, growing system, with the stock rallying from approximately $0.60 to over $1.30 in late 2025 on earlier discoveries. The share price recently drifted to $1.03. The results confirm continuity and grade but do not materially change the resource scale or the investment thesis.
Sitka Gold Corp. is a Canadian junior explorer focused on the 100%-owned RC Gold Project in Yukon’s Tombstone Gold Belt. The project hosts three intrusion-related gold deposits—Blackjack, Rhosgobel, and Eiger—with a total inferred resource of 5.12 moz gold, including 1.29 moz indicated. The company is currently conducting a 60,000-m 2026 diamond drill program, which is fully funded with more than $45M in cash. Additionally, a spin-out of US assets, including Alpha Gold and Burro Creek, is planned to concentrate resources on the RC Gold project.
