Vortex Energy mobilizes crews for Robinsons ANT survey

Mr. Paul Sparkes reports VORTEX ENERGY MOBILIZES FIELD CREWS FOR ANT SURVEY AT ROBINSONS RIVER SALT PROJECT Vortex Energy Corp. field crews are mobilizing to the Robinsons River salt project in Newfoundland to initiate the deployment of ambient noise tomography (ANT) sensors. This marks the start of the company's flagship geophysical survey, designed to image the subsurface salt dome and advance the understanding of its potential for large-scale hydrogen storage. Sensor deployment is being conducted in collaboration with the University of Alberta, CAUR Technologies and Storm Exploration. Mobilization follows formal approval from the Newfoundland and Labrador Department of Industry, Energy and Technology, as announced on July 24, 2025. Upon arrival, crews will deploy a distributed network of sensors across the company's claims. These sensors are designed to passively record natural seismic vibrations, enabling the construction of high-resolution subsurface velocity models, to assist in defining the geometry of the targeted salt bodies. "With mobilization now under way, we're entering the most exciting phase of our present technical program," said Paul Sparkes, chief executive officer of Vortex Energy. "The results are anticipated to directly support drill planning as we advance the Robinsons River project."
