Grounded People to terminate retail operations

Mr. Maximilian Justus reports GROUNDED PEOPLE ANNOUNCES TERMINATION OF RETAIL OPERATIONS AND STRATEGIC REVIEW OF FUTURE OPPORTUNITIES Following a comprehensive review of Grounded People Apparel Inc.'s current operations and market conditions, the board has made the decision to terminate all retail operations and commence the liquidation of remaining inventory. Effective immediately, the company will begin to unwind active retail activities related to its existing footwear segment. This strategic decision follows a careful assessment of prevailing market dynamics, operational challenges, and the long-term interests of the company and its shareholders. Management has determined that continued pursuit of the footwear business is no longer viable in the current retail environment. As part of this transition, Grounded intends to implement measures to reduce overall company overhead and to explore new business directions. As a result of the company's current inactive status, the company will be designated as an inactive issuer, and, effective Nov. 26, 2025, its trading symbol will change from SHOE to SHOE.X. The addition of the suffix .X to the trading symbol is a designation applied by the Canadian Securities Exchange and does not constitute a suspension of trading.
