Ocumetics begins patient recruitment for FIH lens study

Mr. Dean Burns reports OCUMETICS BEGINS PATIENT RECRUITMENT FOR FIRST-IN-HUMAN CLINICAL STUDY OF ACCOMMODATING INTRAOCULAR LENS Ocumetics Technology Corp. has commenced patient recruitment for its highly anticipated first-in-human (FIH) study of the Ocumetics accommodating intraocular lens. Patient recruitment is expected to be completed in approximately seven days. "Our first-in-human clinical study will primarily assess the safety of the Ocumetics Lens and secondarily evaluate surgical technique, distance acuity and any accommodative effects. Implantations will begin after patient recruitment, final site inspection and surgeon training are completed.
