Jo-Jo cancels QT with Placements Appalache; CEO resigns

JO-JO CAPITAL CANADA LTD. ANNOUNCES TERMINATION OF PROPOSED QUALIFYING TRANSACTION AND RESIGNATION OF PETER SCHLOO
Jo-Jo Capital Canada Ltd. has provided notice to Placements Appalache Ltee. that it intends to terminate the proposed qualifying transaction as announced on April 30, 2025, effective Jan. 7, 2026.
The company also announces that Peter Schloo has resigned as chief executive officer, chief financial officer and a director of the company to pursue other interests. The board of directors will be undertaking a search/appointment of both a new chief executive officer and chief financial officer, and will provide updates if and when necessary in accordance with applicable securities laws.
The company will continue to seek a qualifying transaction in accordance with the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange and will provide further updates in due course. Trading in the common shares of the company remains halted and will resume once the TSX-V has completed its resumption review, if applicable.

The corporation is a capital pool company that has not commenced commercial operations and has no assets other than cash.
