Goldgroup Advances San Francisco Restart Plan with Engagement of Leading Mining Contractor INPROMINE

GGA · Price

Goldgroup Mining Inc. (GGA) has engaged Sonora-based mining construction firm INPROMINE for a US $850,000 contract to service, test, and commission all crushing, conveying, and ADR equipment at its fully permitted San Francisco project in Mexico. The company is targeting a gold production restart by late 2026 or early 2027. Concurrently, Goldgroup is executing a 24,000-meter technical drilling program to optimize the mine plan and resource model ahead of the restart.

The San Francisco project is 100% owned and consists of two open pits with heap leach processing facilities. The contract with INPROMINE is expected to take approximately 16 weeks to complete. Ralph Shearing, CEO, stated: "INPROMINE is one of the best Mexican mining construction companies in the business and we are pleased to have them support our production restart program at the San Francisco project. They will review, service, test and commission all crushing and conveying equipment as well as the ADR plants to bring all equipment back to prime operating status. All the key restart preparations are now well underway, including the recently announced 24,000 m technical drilling program designed to optimize the mine plan and resource model. The Company is targeting the end of the year or early 2027 for a restart of gold production."

In addition to operational updates, Goldgroup is advancing a proposed business combination with Gold Resource Corporation. Gold Resource holds the producing Don David mine in Mexico and the Back Forty project in Michigan. Management views this transaction as potentially transformative. The San Francisco project will be added to the Company's existing producing Cerro Prieto heap leach gold mine in Sonora, Mexico, positioning Goldgroup for fast-track growth.
