Total Metals changes year-end to April 30

TOTAL METALS CORP. CHANGES YEAR-END
Total Metals Corp. has filed the required notice to change its financial year-end from Dec. 31 to April 30, in accordance with the requirements of National Instrument 51-102, Continuous Disclosure Obligations.
On Aug. 14, 2025, the company completed the acquisition of all issued and outstanding shares of Compton Mining Corp., pursuant to a business combination agreement dated March 26, 2025. As a result of the transaction, Compton became a wholly owned subsidiary of the company. The transaction constituted a reverse takeover of the company by Compton for accounting purposes. Accordingly, the company intends to change its fiscal year-end from Dec. 31 to April 30 to align with the year-end of the accounting acquiror. Management has determined that adopting an April 30 year-end is in the best interests of the Companyc
As a result of this change, the company will have a transitional 12-month financial year ending April 30, 2026. Further details regarding the change in financial year, including the company's interim reporting periods, will be available in the company's notice of change of financial year-end prepared in accordance with Section 4.8 of NI 51-102, which will be filed on the company's profile on SEDAR+.
