Globex Reports Additional High-Grade Gold in Drilling on it's Nordeau Royalty Claims
Globex’s maiden resources and high-grade drilling validate its royalty portfolio, marking an inflection point for its project generator model.

The most recent news release (February 4, 2026) reports high-grade gold drilling results from the Nordeau Royalty Claims, part of the Cadillac Property in Quebec. Cartier Resources Inc., the operator, is executing a massive 100,000-meter drilling program. Key highlights include hole CA25-559 intersecting 54.6 g/t Au over 1.0 meter and hole CA25-558 intersecting 4.4 g/t Au over 6.0 meters. The drilling has expanded the North Contact Zone (NCZ) by 500 meters along the eastern strike extension. Mineralization remains open at depth and is being tested to surface. Cartier intends to continue this program through Q2 2027.
The news is Material - Positive for Globex for three primary reasons: - Validation of the 3% Gross Metal Royalty (GMR): Unlike a Net Smelter Return (NSR), a GMR is calculated on gross revenue, making it significantly more valuable. High-grade intercepts like 54.6 g/t Au increase the probability of this asset reaching a production decision. - Strike Extension: Expanding the mineralized zone by 500 meters significantly increases the potential tonnage subject to the Globex royalty. - Zero Cost Participation: Globex is not funding this 100,000-meter program. This "free" exploration represents millions of dollars in value-add being performed by a partner, preserving Globex’s $40 million cash/share position.
Globex is a diversified project generator with a portfolio of 260 assets and over 100 royalties. - Flagship Dynamics: While Globex owns many properties 100%, its "flagship" is currently its royalty portfolio, specifically the 3% GMR on the Lac Escale (Mirage) Lithium project operated by Brunswick Exploration and the 3% GMR on the Nordeau gold claims. - Secondary Asset: The Duquesne West gold project (50% interest), which hosts an inferred resource of 1.46 million ounces of gold at 1.69 g/t Au.
