Highlander Silver Showcases Development Progress in Corani Photo Update
Highlander’s Corani photo update highlights construction progress rather than serving as a catalyst for the project.

Highlander Silver Corp. (HSLV) released a photo update detailing development progress at its Corani Silver Project in Puno, Peru. The company reports a workforce of 350 people on site, hired preferentially from local communities. A 600-bed camp and related facilities are currently under construction.
Infrastructure development is underway, with internal and external roads being built and 40 km completed. Earthworks for infrastructure, the plant, pits, and collection ponds are continuing. The substation and transmission line are also under construction, with 2 km completed.
A 70-person technical services team is in place, led by Carlos Ojeda, Vice President and General Manager, covering project design, control, and execution. The majority of work packages have been awarded to international, Peruvian, and local firms, and the long-lead-time equipment order process has commenced.
The release contains no new production, cost, capex, reserve/resource, schedule, feasibility-study, or financing figures. The company’s About section reiterates that Corani is described as the largest silver deposit in development globally, that San Luis is a high-grade gold-silver project, and that Mercedes is an operating gold-silver mine in Mexico.
Highlander Silver Corp. (HSLV) released an incremental construction update on November 4, confirming activity first disclosed in April 7 and July 7 reports. The company has increased its workforce to 350 from more than 300, completed 40 km of roads and 2 km of transmission line, and is constructing a 600-bed camp. Additionally, long-lead ordering has commenced and most work packages have been awarded.
The update does not alter production, cost, capital expenditure, reserve or resource, schedule, or financing assumptions. The investment case remains driven by the pending Q4-2026 Corani feasibility study, the Q1-2027 Natixis facility closing, and overdue Corani assay results.
Shares of Highlander Silver Corp. have fallen 27.2% from C$7.72 on September 23, 2026, the date of the Natixis mandate release, to C$5.62 on November 3, 2026. The market is not treating construction photo updates as the near-term catalyst.
Highlander Silver Corp. (HSLV) is a Canadian mining company listed on the TSX and NYSE American. The company’s primary near-term catalyst is the Corani Silver Project in Puno, Peru, a development-stage asset described by the company as the largest silver deposit in development globally.
Highlander also holds the San Luis Gold-Silver Project in Ancash, Peru, a high-grade project with indicated resources of 356 koz gold at 24.4 g/t and 8.4 moz silver at 579 g/t. Additionally, the company operates the Mercedes Gold-Silver Mine in Sonora, Mexico, a producing asset that generated 30 koz gold in 2025 and 8,147 oz gold in Q2-2026.
The company cites a management track record of over C$4.7B in exit transactions since 2011. Daniel Earle serves as President and CEO, with Carlos Ojeda as VP and GM of Corani, Orlando Chumpitaz as VP and GM of Mercedes, and Sergio Gelcich as VP Exploration. Richard Warke chairs the board. While Las Chispas is referenced in the investor presentation, it is owned by Coeur Mining, not Highlander.
