Greenlane Renewables Announces First Quarter 2026 Financial Results
Greenlane Pares Losses, Panasonic Brazil Plant to Propel Growth

Greenlane Renewables reported Q1 2026 financials, showing revenue of $9.5 million, a 36% increase YoY. Gross margin before amortization improved to 43% from 40% a year earlier, and the Adjusted EBITDA loss narrowed to $0.8 million from a $1.1 million loss. Net loss was $2.1 million. The company ended the quarter with $13.5 million in cash and no debt, and a sales order backlog of $31.5 million. The release also confirms the definitive agreements with Panasonic do Brasil to localize production of the next-gen Cascade LF landfill gas upgrading systems, with Panasonic investing $2–3 million in tooling and facility upgrades, targeting first shipments by end-2026.
The quarter continues a clear positive trajectory: higher revenue, expanding margins, and improving EBITDA. However, the trends were well-telegraphed by the prior FY2025 results (March 12) and the Panasonic deal announcement three days earlier (May 11). The market had already priced in the strategic partnership, and the financial metrics, while stronger, remain short of profitability. The net loss and Adjusted EBITDA loss show the company still burns cash. There is no new, unexpected information capable of moving the needle materially. The news is an incremental, expected follow‑on, consistent with the previously outlined strategic plan. Hence the impact is routine but positive.
Greenlane Renewables supplies biogas upgrading and desulfurization systems for landfill, agricultural, and wastewater renewable natural gas projects. Its technology portfolio includes the new Cascade LF platform featuring a proprietary Linear Nitrogen Rejection Unit for high methane recovery at lower cost. A milestone project is the Orizon biomethane plant in Brazil, inaugurated March 2026, which uses a full Greenlane system. The company has sold over 500 systems in 32 countries. The flagship growth initiative is the localized manufacturing partnership with Panasonic in Brazil to scale Cascade LF production.
