Latin Metals Reports Partner-Funded Phase II Drilling Underway at Cerro Bayo and Initial Drilling at La Flora

Latin begins partner-funded phase ii drilling at cerro bayo and la flora to validate its prospect generator model.

Executive Summary

Latin Metals Inc. (LMS) announced that option partner Daura Gold Corp. has commenced Phase II diamond drilling at the Cerro Bayo and La Flora gold-silver projects in Argentina. The Phase II program consists of approximately 1,600 metres across 20 holes, targeting four specific areas: La Flora, which is undergoing its first-ever drilling, and Cerro Bayo targets Elena, Ingrid, and Gabriela.

The exploration program is fully funded by Daura under an option agreement that allows Daura to earn up to an 80% interest in the projects by meeting specific cash payments, drilling commitments, and technical report requirements. Daura has paid US$300,000 to Latin Metals and US$250,000 to the vendor, and completed approximately 1,850 metres of Phase I drilling. Phase II is now underway.

Historical sampling at La Flora returned up to 82.19 g/t gold and 1,239.28 g/t silver, with 2026 sampling returning 63.88 g/t gold and 175.34 g/t silver.

Material Impact

Latin Metals Inc. (LMS) has commenced Phase II drilling, marking the start of its previously announced Q3 2026 exploration timeline. This development confirms the continued execution of the company’s prospect generator model, which transfers exploration risk and capital expenditure to partners.

The news is incremental and expected, introducing no new financial terms, unexpected geological discoveries, or changes to the strategic roadmap. The fully partner-funded nature of the program reinforces the company's low-dilution strategy, a path the market has already priced in following the May 2026 Phase I results and the August 2026 partnership announcements. This operational update does not introduce any material change to the company's valuation or risk profile.
