Noble Minerals Prepares for Drill Program on the Lucas Gold Project
Noble advances its Lucas drill program with a grant, though dilution risks persist at the deposit.

Noble Mineral Exploration Inc. (NOB) has announced a planned drill program of 2,500 to 3,000 meters on its Lucas Gold Project in the Timmins area. To support this exploration work, the company secured a $215,000 Ontario Job and Economic Development (OJEP) grant.
The project is located approximately 30 km north of Timmins, about 20 km northeast of the Kidd Creek Mine, and roughly 20 km east of Canada Nickel’s Crawford Nickel Resource. Historical context notes that 15 drill holes totaling 3,184 meters were completed in 2018, with no subsequent work until now.
The exploration plan is divided into three phases targeting six IP anomalous trends, with Phase 3 aiming for NI43-101 Resource Definition. A winter road must be constructed to provide stable, deep frozen access for heavy drilling equipment.
Noble Mineral Exploration Inc. (NOB) announced a $215,000 grant, an expected incremental step following the definitive purchase agreement signed in July 2026. The grant covers only a fraction of the anticipated drilling and infrastructure costs, leaving a significant funding gap. The news does not introduce new valuation drivers or alter the company's fundamental risk profile. Dilution from outstanding warrants and options remains a persistent overhang, and the going concern flag is unchanged. The market likely already priced in the progression of the Lucas project given the July acquisition and prior exploration updates.
Noble Mineral Exploration Inc. holds a diversified portfolio of approximately 70,000 hectares in Northern Ontario and approximately 14,000 hectares across Quebec and Newfoundland. The company’s flagship Lucas Gold Project is a drill-ready asset near Timmins, featuring historical gold mineralization and six untested IP anomalous trends.
The company is heavily focused on critical minerals, including rare earth elements (REE) at Chapiteau in Labrador and Mehmet in Quebec, as well as nickel-copper-PGE deposits at Havre St. Pierre and Cere-Villebon. Management emphasizes leveraging advanced exploration technologies and government grants to advance early-stage properties in premier jurisdictions.
