Minaurum Advances Underground Rehabilitation and Exploration at the Historic Promontorio Mine
Minaurum’s underground rehab at Promontorio yields high-grade channel samples, validating historic stopes.

Minaurum Silver Inc. announced progress on underground rehabilitation and channel sampling at the historic Promontorio Mine, part of its 100% owned Alamos Silver Project in Sonora, Mexico. The company secured safe access to over 600 meters of the main haulage level and a 55-meter-deep internal shaft, known as Balvanera, enabling detailed geological mapping and sampling.
LIDAR scanning was utilized to create detailed geological maps and integrate with topographical models. Assay methodology followed strict QA/QC protocols with ALS Minerals, and data was verified by Qualified Person Stephen R. Maynard. AgEq calculations used October 1, 2025 CIBC consensus prices and standard metallurgical recovery assumptions.
Channel sampling returned high-grade silver equivalent (AgEq) intercepts, including:
- 0.30 m of 4,142 g/t AgEq
- Multiple 0.50 m intervals ranging from 480 to 733 g/t AgEq
These results confirm high-grade mineralization along the edges of historically mined stopes and support the existing 55.2 moz AgEq inferred resource estimate.
Minaurum Silver Inc. (MGG) released results representing incremental, expected progress within its ongoing Phase II 50,000-meter resource expansion drill program. Securing underground access and validating high-grade channel samples along historic stopes is a logical and anticipated step following the maiden resource estimate and subsequent drilling campaigns.
The announcement does not introduce new financial metrics, major resource upgrades, or unexpected strategic shifts. It serves as a validation of the project's geological continuity and exploration potential. Given the company's history of regular drill result updates and the explicit timeline for an updated mineral resource estimate in H2 2026, this announcement is consistent with prior expectations. The primary impact is operational and exploratory, reinforcing the technical case for the Alamos project without immediately altering the capital requirements or near-term financial outlook.
Minaurum Silver Inc. is a precious metals exploration company focused on the Alamos Silver Project in Sonora, Mexico. The flagship project is a 100% owned, high-grade silver deposit with an initial inferred resource of 55.2 moz AgEq grading 320 g/t AgEq. The project includes multiple vein zones (Europa, Promontorio, Travesia, Quintera, San Jose) and is situated adjacent to the Piedras Verdes mine, benefiting from existing regional infrastructure.
The company is in the exploration and resource expansion stage, having completed a maiden resource estimate and launched an aggressive 50,000-meter drill program to expand the resource base. Additional projects in the district portfolio include Lone Mountain (Nevada, USA) and several exploration-stage properties in Mexico (Santa Marta, Aurena, Taviche, etc.).
