Viscount Reports 7.9 metres (26 ft) Grading 473.2 g/t Silver and 2.92 g/t Gold at Silver Cliff; Step-Out Drilling Confirms Silver Mineralization Beyond Current Kate Silver Resource Limits

Viscount’s Kate step-outs extend silver mineralisation approximately one kilometre north, though expansion grades sit below the current resource estimate.

Executive Summary

Viscount Mining Corp. (VML) has released final assay results from a 10-hole, approximately 830-meter core drilling program conducted in 2026 at its Silver Cliff Project in Colorado. All ten drill collars were located outside the boundary of the April 2023 Kate Silver Resource (KSR), ranging from 67.7 meters to approximately one kilometer away. The reporting cutoff for these 2026 holes was set at 15 g/t Ag, whereas the current resource was modeled using a 30 g/t Ag cutoff.

The April 2023 Kate resource remains explicitly unchanged, comprising 10.275 moz Ag Measured and Indicated grades at approximately 71 g/t, and 14.215 moz Ag Inferred grades at approximately 52 g/t.

Key intercepts from the program include:

  • K26-08 (northern trend, ~1 km from KSR): 13.4 m @ 267.6 g/t Ag; including 7.9 m @ 473.2 g/t Ag and 2.92 g/t Au; including 1.5 m @ 1,030 g/t Ag and 1.65 g/t Au; and 1.8 m @ 675 g/t Ag and 10.20 g/t Au. The whole 184.1 m hole averaged 21.8 g/t Ag.
  • Kate resource-expansion holes (67.7-117.7 m outside the boundary):
    • K26-04: 45.7 m @ 34.1 g/t Ag (whole 56.4 m hole averaged 28.9 g/t; including 24.4 m @ 48.9 g/t)
    • K26-09: 18.0 m @ 46.0 g/t Ag (whole 62.3 m hole averaged 21.7 g/t; including 6.1 m @ 93.2 g/t)
    • K26-10: 12.5 m @ 15.3 g/t Ag
    • K26-01: 7.6 m @ 15.0 g/t Ag
    • K26-03: 6.1 m @ 15.5 g/t Ag
    • K26-02: Returned no qualifying interval
  • Northern holes:
    • K26-07: 15.9 m @ 28.1 g/t Ag (including 1.2 m @ 212 g/t Ag, 0.50% Pb, 0.50% Zn)
    • K26-05: 6.1 m @ 46.3 g/t Ag plus a separate 6.1 m @ 25.5 g/t
    • K26-06: 3.0 m @ 15.0 g/t Ag

A total of 506 core samples were assayed. Manganese exceeded 1,000 ppm in 196 of the 506 samples, and 76 samples exceeded the routine method's upper reporting limit, meaning grades are currently unknown and re-analysis is pending.

Material Impact

Viscount Mining Corp. (VML) is an explorer with a defined approximately 24.5 moz Ag resource and a separate porphyry target. The market has priced in scale before confidence at this stage, making the central question whether the latest release expands the target size.

The company released the first assays from its 2026 program, ending a wait since the April-June visual-only releases. The data provides evidence that silver mineralization extends beyond the resource wireframe, including one strong silver-gold hole located approximately 1 km north. This represents a positive increment to the resource-expansion case.

The release did not add any ounces, as the resource remains unchanged. It did not establish true width or continuity of the northern trend beyond the single hole, nor did it add higher-grade material at Kate, where expansion grades run at approximately half the Measured and Indicated resource grade. Additionally, 76 manganese assays remain unresolved.

The stock round-tripped from approximately C$1.02 following December 2025 geophysics and geology releases to C$0.24 in August 2026. It has since recovered approximately 130% to C$0.55 by 2026-09-21. The December price anchor is not embedded in the current valuation, and the price does not assume the 2026 holes would repeat a bonanza. The pre-release recovery suggests that a portion of the "good assays" may already be discounted.

Company Overview

Viscount Mining Corp. (TSXV: VML; OTCQX: VLMGF) is a pre-revenue explorer that owns two 100%-held assets. Its Silver Cliff property in Custer County, Colorado, hosts the NI 43-101 Kate Silver Resource, which includes 10.275 million ounces of silver in the measured and indicated category at approximately 71 grams per tonne, and 14.215 million ounces in the inferred category at approximately 52 grams per tonne. This totals approximately 24.5 million ounces, as reported in April 2023 using a $24 per ounce silver price and a 30 grams per tonne cutoff. The property also features the Passiflora gold-copper porphyry target, where drill hole PF-23-03A returned 843.9 meters at approximately 0.214% copper equivalent, with the majority of the intercept falling outside the internal higher-grade zones at less than 0.3% copper equivalent.

The company’s Cherry Creek property in White Pine County, Nevada, comprises 219 unpatented and nine patented claims. The site exhibits antimony, tellurium, and tungsten geochemistry along with multiple deposit styles, though no resource has been defined.

In the nine months leading to May 31, 2026, Viscount reported a net loss of C$896,212 with no revenue. The company held C$4.47 million in cash and C$13.9 million in total equity, resulting in a book value per share of C$0.11. Working capital stood at approximately C$4.32 million, and the company stated it is fully funded for 2026. Promotion and marketing expenses rose to approximately C$406,889 during the period. There are 121.77 million shares outstanding.
