Collective Mining Highlights Strong Copper and Tungsten Metallurgical Results; Advances Apollo Flowsheet for 2027 Licensing Submission
Collective’s metallurgical validation supports its 2027 licensing path, even as the company’s stock price continues to drift lower.

Collective Mining Ltd. announced strong metallurgical test results for the Apollo deposit at its Guayabales Project in Colombia. Locked-cycle testing on the master composite demonstrated 95% gold, 92% silver, and 85% copper recovery using conventional processing, with low cyanide consumption (0.57 kg/t). Copper sub-domain testing achieved 95% copper recovery, while tungsten sub-domain testing achieved up to 74% tungsten recovery with 95% scheelite purity.
The company is advancing an integrated dual-route processing flowsheet: a conventional cyanidation circuit for the majority of the resource (low Cu/W) and dedicated flotation circuits for higher-grade Cu/W sub-domains. This work directly supports the maiden mineral resource announced on September 8, 2026, and positions the company for a planned 2027 environmental licensing submission in Colombia.
Next steps include locked-cycle testing of higher-grade copper material, variability testing, and optimization of the tungsten circuit.
Collective Mining Ltd. released results that serve as a logical follow-up to its September 8 maiden mineral resource announcement. The data confirms that the polymetallic nature of the Apollo deposit, which contains gold, silver, copper, and tungsten trioxide, can be processed efficiently using standard methods. This outcome de-risks the metallurgical component of the company’s upcoming 2027 licensing submission.
Market reaction to the news has been muted to negative, evidenced by the stock’s continued decline from its February peak. There were no new surprises or material deviations from prior guidance. The dual-route flowsheet represents a standard optimization step for polymetallic deposits and does not alter the fundamental project economics or timeline.
Collective Mining Ltd. is a Canadian-listed exploration and development company focused on the Guayabales Project in Caldas, Colombia. The project’s flagship Apollo system is a large-scale, bulk-tonnage, high-grade polymetallic deposit enriched in gold, silver, copper, and tungsten. Located in an established mining camp adjacent to Aris Mining's Marmato project, the site benefits from existing infrastructure, a skilled labor pool, and a pro-mining regulatory environment. The management team includes veterans from Continental Gold, Kinross, and European Goldfields, with a track record of developing and selling major assets.
