Group Eleven Reports Significantly Higher Germanium Grades at Ballywire with Better Accuracy Assay Method

Group Eleven’s new assay method doubles germanium grades without increasing tonnes, resource, or recoveries at its project.

Executive Summary

Group Eleven Resources Corp. (ZNG) has completed a re-analysis of germanium grades from five previously drilled holes at its Ballywire project, utilizing a new sodium peroxide fusion method at ALS Labs instead of the older lithium borate fusion technique. The company re-analyzed 220 samples from these five holes, with an additional 110 samples from 15 other holes still pending.

The re-assay results indicate that germanium grades are 68% higher on average under the new method, with individual increases reaching up to 334%. The release provides updated germanium grades for previously announced base-metal intervals.

  • 25-3552-31: 12.9m @ 11.0% Zn+Pb, 57 g/t Ag, 29 g/t Ge; including 3.7m @ 20.4% Zn+Pb, 151 g/t Ag, 62 g/t Ge
  • 25-3552-35: 18.3m @ 16.1% Zn+Pb, 233 g/t Ag, 0.42% Cu, 15 g/t Ge; including 2.9m @ 29.3% Zn+Pb, 412 g/t Ag, 0.92% Cu, 29 g/t Ge
  • 25-3552-51: 29.9m @ 15.3% Zn+Pb, 552 g/t Ag, 0.67% Cu, 16 g/t Ge; including 8.4m @ 18.2% Zn+Pb, 1776 g/t Ag, 2.21% Cu, 25 g/t Ge
  • 25-3552-53: 19.8m @ 13.7% Zn+Pb, 51 g/t Ag, 27 g/t Ge; including 4.7m @ 27.6% Zn+Pb, 92 g/t Ag, 55 g/t Ge
  • 26-3552-57: 3.7m @ 12.6% Zn+Pb, 43 g/t Ag, 31 g/t Ge; and 4.8m @ 17.0% Zn+Pb, 82 g/t Ag, 28 g/t Ge

The data also highlights broader zones, including 52.28m @ 10.35% Zn+Pb, 329.6 g/t Ag, 0.40% Cu, 8.9 g/t Ge in hole 25-3552-51, and 62.51m @ 5.56% Zn+Pb, 24.8 g/t Ag, 6.6 g/t Ge in hole 26-3552-57. This update does not report new drilling intercepts or new mineralized zones, serving only as a re-assay update on previously released holes.

Material Impact

Group Eleven Resources Corp. (ZNG) is a pre-resource explorer with a C$216 million market capitalization, no revenue, and no Ballywire resource estimate. Its equity is priced on exploration potential rather than cash flow. The stock had already rallied from roughly C$0.31 in November 2025 to a high of C$1.30 in May 2026 on the back of Ballywire’s high-grade Zn-Pb-Ag-Cu intercepts. Germanium was previously flagged as an associated metal in the February 2026 release.

The new assay method materially improves reported germanium grades but does not add new meters, new holes, new zones, new resources, or metallurgical recovery. It represents a technical upgrade to a byproduct credit. While a modest positive repricing is reasonable, a sustained 15% or greater move solely on this re-assay release is not expected. The news is genuinely better germanium grades, but it is not a discovery or resource-defining result.
