ATEX Record Phase VI Program Expands the High-Grade B2B Breccia Strike by 50% and Discovers New Mineralization Beyond B2B to the East and North

ATEX Resources Inc. (ATX) has released the final assay results from its Phase VI drill program at the Valeriano Copper-Gold Project in Chile, marking a record-breaking exploration effort. The program completed approximately 28,400 meters of directional drilling, exceeding the initial 25,000-meter target and representing a greater than 70% increase over Phase V. By utilizing six drill rigs and directional wedging, the company saved approximately 12,000 meters of drilling compared to conventional methods.
The results delivered several of the highest-grade intercepts in the company’s history, significantly expanding the high-grade B2B breccia zone and establishing a broader 1.8-kilometer north-south porphyry corridor. Key drill intercepts from the B2B breccia and high-grade zones include:
- ATXD25C: 40m at 4.83% CuEq (2.76% Cu, 1.88 g/t Au, 10.0 g/t Ag, 43 g/t Mo) within 86m at 3.84% CuEq within 164m at 2.77% CuEq.
- ATXD26B: 186m at 2.15% CuEq (1.33% Cu, 0.72 g/t Au, 4.0 g/t Ag, 80.8 g/t Mo) within 887m at 1.06% CuEq.
- ATXD32: 56m at 2.36% CuEq (1.49% Cu, 0.78 g/t Au, 4.9 g/t Ag, 20.6 g/t Mo) within 592m at 1.04% CuEq within 1,080m at 0.89% CuEq.
- ATXD23C: 20m at 4.10% CuEq (2.53% Cu, 1.39 g/t Au, 9.3 g/t Ag, 84.0 g/t Mo) within 78m at 3.03% CuEq within 124m at 2.65% CuEq.
- ATXD19B: 37m at 1.72% CuEq (0.93% Cu, 0.71 g/t Au, 4.2 g/t Ag, 2 g/t Mo) within 446m at 0.74% CuEq.
- ATXD25E: 20m at 1.70% CuEq within 66m at 1.30% CuEq, plus a separate 294m at 1.05% CuEq, all within 884m at 0.79% CuEq.
- ATXD31B: 10m at 2.22% CuEq within 22m at 1.74% CuEq, plus a separate 118m at 0.87% CuEq.
Geologically, the B2B high-grade breccia strike length increased by 50% to approximately 600 meters. High-grade mineralization extended approximately 200 meters to the south and approximately 100 meters to the north, while the broader mineralized footprint expanded approximately 200 meters to the east. Additionally, porphyry-related mineralization was established across an approximately 1.8-kilometer north-south corridor, and an approximate 150-meter true-width zone of mineralized host rock was identified north of B2B.
Samples were sent to ALS for preparation in Copiapó, with assays conducted in Santiago and Lima. The analytical methods included Au-AA24, Cu-AA62, Mo-AA62, Ag-AA62, and multi-element ICP (ME-MS61). Quality assurance and control measures involved the insertion of 6% Certified Reference Material, 2% blanks, and 2% pulp/coarse reject duplicates, with no data quality issues reported. Drill holes were composited at a cut-off of 0.3% CuEq.
Chris Beer, Interim President and CEO, highlighted the significance of the findings. "One of the most important outcomes of Phase VI has been the evolution of our geological interpretation of the high-grade B2B zone... Rather than viewing B2B as a discrete breccia body, we now recognize a broader, high-grade mineralized footprint incorporating multiple breccia and porphyry phases," Beer stated. He added, "Phase VI has been a highly successful program that materially advanced Valeriano on several fronts... Collectively, these results demonstrate not only the continuity and growth potential of B2B, but also the potential for a substantially larger mineralized system surrounding it."
Looking ahead, Phase VII drilling is scheduled to commence in early October 2026, targeting further expansion of B2B and high-grade porphyry opportunities. An updated Mineral Resource Estimate is expected in the second half of 2027. Regional exploration continues to advance at the Nuevo Horizonte land package, which spans 25,000 hectares.
