AE Fuels Expands South Woodie Woodie Manganese Footprint with Grant of Strategic Tenement
AE Fuels expands its Pilbara manganese project by 35 sq km, though the company’s cash runway remains tight.

AE Fuels Corporation (AEF) has been granted exploration licence E46/1580 at its South Woodie Woodie Manganese Project in Western Australia. The new tenement adds 34.95 km² of contiguous ground immediately west of the Pearana and Pothole prospect areas, bringing the company’s total exploration tenure to 533.43 km².
The geology of the new area features Pinjian Chert Breccia and structural trends analogous to existing manganese mineralization at Pearana. However, no mineralization has been demonstrated on the new ground yet, and field investigation and drill testing are required.
The expansion complements a recently completed high-resolution gravity program that defined 44 priority drill targets at Pearana and Pothole. Management plans to integrate datasets, conduct field reconnaissance, and prioritize areas for additional geophysics and drilling.
AE Fuels Corporation (AEF) has announced a tenement expansion, a move described as a logical follow-up to the gravity survey and target definition work the company revealed in early September 2026. The expansion secures ground surrounding high-priority drill targets, a step that reduces exploration risk but does not immediately de-risk the project or generate revenue.
The development aligns with the company’s stated strategy of expanding its resource base beyond the existing 11.3 Mt Inferred Mineral Resource. However, the news is considered incremental and routine, introducing no material financial impact or immediate catalyst. The market had already priced in the earlier gravity survey and target definition.
Additionally, the company’s recent DIBC membership, announced on September 9, 2026, adds strategic positioning. This membership explicitly disclaims any government contract, funding award, or endorsement.
AE Fuels Corporation is a critical minerals exploration company focused on manganese and fluorspar. Its flagship asset is the South Woodie Woodie Manganese Project in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, which sits on a landholding of approximately 533 km². The company holds an NI 43-101 Inferred Mineral Resource of 11.3 million tonnes at 15.0% Mn.
The company also operates the Fluorite Ridge project in New Mexico, USA, where it has consolidated 85 claims covering approximately 1,756 acres. This area encompasses historic fluorspar mines, including the Sadler, Greenleaf, and Lucky properties.
AE Fuels is pursuing a dual-track strategy focused on resource growth and downstream value creation. The company is targeting battery-grade High-Purity Manganese Sulphate Monohydrate (HPMSM) and domestic US fluorspar supply chains. A Pre-Feasibility Study is targeted for completion by mid-2027.
