Blende Silver plans work at Blende property

BLENDE SILVER CORP PROVIDES UPDATE FOR THE BLENDE ZINC-LEAD-SILVER PROPERTY
Blende Silver Corp. has provided an update for its 5,434-hectare Blende zinc-lead-silver property, located within the traditional territory of the First Nation of Na-Cho Nyak Dun and 65 kilometres northeast of Keno City, Yukon.
The company completed its proposal for a Class 4 quartz mining land use approval in January, 2025. The company has been actively engaged with regulatory authorities to facilitate the approval process for the Class 4 quartz mining permit, which is essential for advancing exploration and development at the property. Proposed activities at the property include the upgrade of up to five kilometres of existing trails and construction of up to two kilometres of new trail, one new helicopter pad, a one-kilometre airstrip and a new camp facility located about 200 metres up valley from the previously permitted camp, all in support of a 25,000-metre drill program, which proposes up to 50 surface diamond drill holes per year.
The Yukon Environmental and Socio-economic Assessment Board (YESAB) has extended its timeline for collecting public comments on the project until Sept. 18, 2025. Stakeholders are encouraged to view the application and participate in the assessment process by submitting their feedback through the YESAB on-line registry. Additionally, while the Class 4 application is under review, the company is moving forward this week, with a smaller Class 1 exploration notification, which will initially see the installation of a smaller-scale camp at the existing site to support a surface drill program over a period of less than 250 person-days per camp.
Andrew H. Rees, a director of the company, stated, "We are excited to continue exploration on the Blende property, which, in 1995, was reported to be the largest strata-bound, carbonate-hosted zinc-lead deposit in the Yukon, as described in Economic Geology, Vol. 90, 1995."
The property covers a Proterozoic-aged, carbonate-hosted massive sulphide deposit with characteristics of both Irish-type and clastic-dominated zinc-lead deposits. The mineralization is hosted within Lower Proterozoic Gillespie group dolomite, forming a greater-than-six-kilometre mineralized corridor on the southern edge of the Mackenzie platform. A National Instrument 43-101-compliant mineral resource estimate was completed for the property by Moose Mountain Technical Services, with an effective date of March 15, 2021, reporting an indicated mineral resource of 4.6 million tonnes grading 1.82 per cent zinc, 1.63 per cent lead and 30.3 grams per tonne silver (187 million pounds of zinc, 167 million pounds of lead and 4.5 million ounces of silver), along with an inferred mineral resource of 42.2 million tonnes grading 1.83 per cent zinc, 1.62 per cent lead and 27.5 grams per tonne silver (1.7 billion pounds of zinc, 1.5 billion pounds of lead and 37.3 million ounces of silver) (see the company's website and SEDAR+).
The technical information in this news release has been reviewed by Jean Pautler, an independent consultant commissioned by the company. Ms. Pautler is a professional geoscientist (PGeo) registered with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of the Province of British Columbia (APEGBC) and licensed by Engineers and Geoscientists B.C., and she is a qualified person with respect to NI 43-101.
